1. Who we are

Mangasine Online Printing ("MOP", "we", "us") is a Tanzanian platform operated by Mangasine Digital Services, based in Makumira, Arusha, Tanzania. MOP lets you upload documents, print them at partner stationeries, convert handwritten notes into typed documents, and buy event tickets. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2. Data we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password (stored encrypted).
  • Documents: files you upload for printing or handwriting conversion, including photos of handwritten pages.
  • Order and payment records: what you ordered, the stationery you chose, amounts paid, and payment references from our payment partner. We never see or store your full mobile-money PIN or card details — payment is processed by our licensed payment provider.
  • Technical data: device and browser information and IP address, used for security and to improve the service.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide the service: process your documents, route orders to your chosen stationery, and generate your QR pickup code.
  • To process handwriting conversion: your uploaded pages are processed by trusted AI providers solely to produce your typed document.
  • To communicate with you: order confirmations, receipts, password resets and service updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
  • To keep the platform secure and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

4. Who we share data with

  • Partner stationeries: the shop you choose receives your document and order details so it can print them for you.
  • Payment provider: our licensed payment partner processes your payment and shares the transaction status with us.
  • Service providers: hosting and AI processing providers who handle data only on our instructions.
  • Authorities: only where required by Tanzanian law.

5. Document storage and retention

Uploaded documents are stored securely and are accessible only to you, the stationery fulfilling your order, and authorised MOP staff. We retain order records for accounting and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your documents or your entire account at any time (see section 7).

6. Security

All traffic to MOP is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing. Access to production systems is restricted, and we keep regular encrypted backups so your data is not lost.

7. Your rights

In line with the Tanzania Personal Data Protection Act, you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and documents. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Muhtasari kwa Kiswahili

Tunakusanya taarifa zako za akaunti, nyaraka unazopakia, na kumbukumbu za malipo ili kukupatia huduma ya kuprint na kubadilisha maandishi ya mkono kuwa document. Hatuuzi taarifa zako kwa mtu yeyote. Nyaraka zako zinatunzwa kwa usalama, na unaweza kuomba zifutwe wakati wowote kwa kuwasiliana nasi.
